12 pc. Sterling Silver Engraved Gadroon Edge Luncheon Plates Bailey Banks Biddle

Description

You are looking at absolutely beautiful, rare, highest quality and very hefty set of twelve sterling silver (fully marked) plates by Bailey, Banks & Biddle (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 20th century). Each plate has engraved scrolling foliage, cast scrolled gadroon edge and fancy central monogram.
Approx. diameter is 7-1/8 in.
Condition: great estate; light signs of use; no repairs or abuse here.
I don’t have an appropriate scale to weight precious metals, so please use your judgment. On the last picture, ONE plate is placed on a kitchen scale, so have an idea about the weight.
