1947-48 Farmer’s Ledger Warrick Implement Store Boonville IN With John Deere Ads

Up for bid is a vintage book, The Farmer’s Pocket Ledger. This 81st annual edition was given to customers by Warrick Implement Store in Boonville, Indiana. It is nearly 75 years sold, as evidenced by the 1947 and 1948 calendars on the back cover. This 72-page booklet was intended to help the farmer keep a daily record of his operations. It also features several pages of John Deere advertisements. This booklet measures 3 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches and is in very good condition, with light pencil notations on a few pages. The name and address of the original owner, Harry Aldridge of Tennyson, Indiana, is written inside of the front cover but is faded.
