    Description

    Presented is a great antique sterling silver salver tray made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The oval tray is raised up on four sturdy legs and engraved with elegant swags of leaves around the rim. The center of the tray is engraved with the old original monogram of CJW in a fancy script.
    The tray is marked on the underside with Gorham’s old company hallmarks, Sterling, and the date letter B for 1869.
    The condition is excellent. The tray has some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is quite minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The tray measures 7 1/8 inches by 9 1/8 inches.
    The height to the rim is approximately 1 inch.
    The weight is 378.1 grams or 13.2 ounces.
