Calisa by German Doll Artist Vera Scholz

Calisa is a beautiful doll created by Vera Scholz, a famous German doll artist. She was manufactured on April 16, 1998 in the Waltershausen Puppen Manufactory (WPM), one of the well known German doll companies that don’t exist anymore. She is Nr. 90 of a Limited Edition of
250.
Calisa’s socket head, her legs up to her knees and her arms up to her elbows are made of Biggidur, a porcelain-like vinyl and unique specialty of WPM. The body is made of soft cloth. Wire armatures in her legs and arms make the doll very posable. She can sit or stand with a doll stand. Calisa has blond human, hand knotted hair, and her hazel eyes are mouth blown glass eyes.
Calisa‘s clothes consist of a one- piece underwear and a very pretty dark green velvet dress. (See photos!) She carries a teddy bear handbag with her.
Calisa comes with her COA, Tag and Box, that shows some wear from storage.
I hate to give up this beautiful doll, but I have to downsize my collection, and I hope Calisa will find a loving new home.
