ETCHED HO SCALE SD GP SERIES HANDRAIL STANCHION SET "B" KV MODELS KV-148H

Description

You are looking a set of HO scale etched handrail stanchions for models of the EMD SD and GP series locomotives.  These stanchions have the small angled sill support brackets that some engine were equipped with.  The brackets are folded back toward the long hood and sit on top of the walkway.  The stanchions are made out of phosphor bronze and are strong as well as solderable!  They work perfectly with phosphor bronze wire for handrails.  The set includes 4 different height stanchions as well as stanchions for the pilot.  The stanchions have a pin at the base that is bent perpendicular to the stanchion and inserted into a hole drilled into the sill.  CA is perfect for attaching the stanchion to the sill.  The top of the stanchion has a long tab that is folded down around the wire handrail.  You can either use solder or CA to attach the wire with the tab wrapped around it.  For more information visit KVModels.com.
