“The tray is in very good condition with no breaks in the scrollwork, but there are quite a few pinprick dings in the center. These are small enough that they do not detract from the beauty of the piece at all.” This auction is for a stunning reticulated cake plate or centerpiece by the Mauser Manufacturing Company. The plate measures 12" in diameter and is ornately decorated with cherubs and an intricate scroll pattern. It is marked on the bottom with the Mauser makers mark, "Sterling" and the number "3215D", as well as a retailers marl for JB Hudson & Son. It is monogrammed as pictured.
