TIFFANY & Co Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Double Inkwell & Pen Tray Stand
This is an incredibly ornate and beautiful TIFFANY & Co Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Double Inkwell & Pen Tray Stand. The tray is handcrafted in Sterling Silver and features a common Art Nouveau motif of stylized Acanthus leaves. The tray is hand-polished to maintain a beautiful patina (see pics). There are double inkwells made of handcarved crystal with Sterling Silver tops in the same Acanthus leaf pattern. There are stylized monograms at the center of the tray, and on the 2 inkwell tops "FVB". The front of the tray has pen holding racks that can hold 1-2 pens depending on size. Tray is heavy - 274g solid Sterling Silver. Hallmarked on back "Tiffany & Co." The tray is in very good used condition with minor signs of use. The inkwell on the right has a chip in the front lower corner of the crystal and a slight bend/curve to the lid (see pics).
