    Vintage 1970's - 1980's Hunting Backpack Meat Hauler Large Pockets HEAVY CANVAS EUC!
    What we know:
    This custom made hunting backpack was made by The Flatland Packworks - which was  Mike Schonhofen's company. Mike was a renound Seattle Packmaker who later ran Columbia Sportswear 's in-house backpack division.
    This pack was carefully looked over for flaws and is in excellent used condition. It looks like it has spent the past several decades in storage.
    The pack is made of very heavy canvas (feels waxed? but not positive) with double zippers at all compartments except the small rear pouch. Zippers are strong and work well.
    It has aluminum weight distribution braces for meat hauling, and waistband with metal clasp.
    Has two large side pockets, the main cavity and one small rear pocket.
    Padded waistband and shoulder straps.
    Exceptional workmanship in stitching went into this one of a kind hunting backpack.
    It measures approximately 28" x 20" x12" NOTE: these are rough "unfilled" dimensions which should be taken into consideration.
    Weighs just under 4lbs empty.
    This backpack is constructed with a higher level of quality than you see today in hunting packs at this price range.
